ABOUT ME

I'm originally from a small town in Southern California named Fontana, in the Inland Empire. I began going to Chaffey College in 2009 because my school didn't offer sign language and I knew that was what I wanted to learn. I took a total of three classes before I graduated high school, two of which were sign language classes. Once I graduated from Chaffey College with my Associates of Art, I decided to transfer to Utah Valley

University in Spring of 2014. I declared my major as Deaf Studies with an Emphasis in Interpreting.
In 2015 I joined the UVU Mentor Program from Fall of 2015 to Fall of 2017. I helped new students, transfer students, and returning students become connected with campus and learn valuable educational skills. I graduate Fall of 2017 with my Bachelors.
